EVenergy supports wind turbine installation and commissioning from mobilization to handover, on projects across the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia. We coordinate installation and commissioning resources, support access and heavy logistics, manage inspection campaigns and close documented punch list items, so turbines reach handover with a clear record of what was checked and corrected.

Wind turbine installation support and OEM interfaces

We provide WTG installation and commissioning assistance, including interface coordination with the turbine manufacturer (OEM) teams and the site contractors. Our installation and commissioning teams are trained across different manufacturer platforms and turbine architectures, and follow the applicable OEM instructions for each platform.

Components arrive through wind turbine transport and heavy lifting, and the owner can be represented on site through owner’s engineering and PMC support.

Inspections, testing and commissioning assistance

Site management runs alongside the technical work: progress records, civil and electrical balance of plant inspections, and inspections and testing of the installed turbines. All site work runs under the QHSE requirements agreed for the site, with work permits, toolbox talks and task risk controls, as set out in QHSE and site assurance.

Punch list survey, correction and closeout evidence

After installation, open items found during inspections are recorded on a punch list. We survey the items, carry out the corrective work and record closeout evidence for each one, so the items can be closed and the turbines can move towards handover.

Case: punch list correction across 111 WTGs at Zarafshan

EVenergy completed punch list correction works across 111 wind turbine generators at Zarafshan Wind Farm, a Masdar-owned project in Uzbekistan. The completion certificate, dated 15 June 2025, recommends EVenergy for similar installation support, inspection, corrective maintenance and field service assignments.

How the work is delivered

  1. Define the work

Agree the equipment, site access, applicable procedures, acceptance criteria and reporting format before mobilization.

  2. Execute safely

Use site risk assessments, permits, isolation controls and task-specific competence for the work being performed.

  3. Close the loop

Record findings with photographs and recommendations, then track corrective actions through handover.

Frequently asked questions

What is a punch list in wind turbine commissioning?

A punch list records the open items found during inspections after installation. Each item has to be corrected and closed before handover. We survey the items, carry out the corrective work and record closeout evidence. EVenergy completed punch list correction works across 111 WTGs at Zarafshan Wind Farm, Uzbekistan.

What happens between installation and handover?

The installed turbines are inspected and tested, and any open items are recorded on a punch list. Those items are surveyed, corrected and closed with documented evidence. Throughout, we keep progress records and coordinate the OEM teams and site contractors, so the owner receives a complete record at handover.

Which turbine platforms do your crews support?

Our installation and commissioning teams are trained across different manufacturer platforms and turbine architectures. The service scope and method are confirmed for each contract and turbine platform, and the work follows the applicable OEM instructions. Tell us the turbine make and model when you enquire, and we confirm the team and scope in the offer.

How is site safety managed during installation?

Through site QHSE coordination, work permits, toolbox talks and task risk controls, agreed with the client before mobilization. Isolation controls and task-specific competence apply to each activity. Findings and corrective actions are recorded and tracked through handover, so safety and quality records stay part of the same closeout file.
